I had not been traveling to Ghent, in the Belgian region of Flanders, to the point that I barely had any images in memory, beyond the typical ones that you can see in brochures or webs tourist.

What to see in Ghent
Ghent It has the advantage that it is not too big a city. On the contrary, you can visit its medieval center by walking, so that you can reach its most interesting corners on foot.

On that axis you have other prominent buildings, such as town hall or the modern and controversial Municipal Pavilion.
Other outstanding places that you should not miss during your walk through the medieval center of Ghent are the castle of the Counts of Flanders, a great and robust fortification, and the Meat Market, inside which you find a wide range of local products.
