Surely it is one of the most recurring questions for those who are lucky enough to go to spend a few days in the most romantic city in the world ... well, we have good news! Today we are going to talk to you about7 places and restaurants to eat in Venice cheap and very well (for less than € 10).

If you want more information of Venice, visit our GUIDE TO A TRIP TO VENICE

One of the best options of street food in Venice (if you are tired of pizza and focaccia). Here you can enjoy many types of Crepes sweet and savory and choose your ingredients (we recommend speck, a kind of delicious smoked ham and smoked provolone or nutella, classic but always rich or if you want to try something unique we recommend cottage cheese, fig jam and honey ( € 3.5).

You can also try some crepe veneta 100% such as Vincentian soppressa and asiago cheese (€ 3). The place is small (there are only about 5 chairs) but you can buy your crepes and eat them on a bench you find in a square. We almost forgot: there are also waffels ... in case you feel like candy (€ 2.5-3)

  • Hours: 10-15.30 / 18-23.30 (Tuesday closed).
  • Prices: 3-5 €.
  • Where: Fondamenta S. Giobbe, 548a

This little bar is an institution in Venice: it is visited by students, tourists and Venetians and everyone agrees… it is very cool! For us it is one of the best places to have a drink and eat in Venice since you will feel like a Venetian more 🙂 The house wine is cheap (from € 0.70!) And its famous panini (small snacks) cost a eurito, so do not hesitate: take a few and go eat it on the street, next to the canal.

  • Hours: 10.00-20.00.
  • Prices: with € 5 you eat and drink
  • Web: //www.facebook.com/pages/Bacareto-da-Lele/184657361571895
  • Where: Campo dei Tolentini 183

The site is expensive ... but there is a trick: we advise you to come here to take a spritz (the typical Italian appetizer made with aperol, prosecco and sparkling water) there is a free buffet where to eat! Each drink costs the same (no matter if you drink water or beer) and do not expect a super mega hyper cool buffet (there is some pasta, sometimes risottos and varied bruschettas) but not bad for Venice, right?

Eye: We have just been informed that apparently they changed the time ... in theory they now do it from 3pm to 6pm. Thank you very much Adrián!

  • Prices: € 5-8.

  • Where: Sestiere Cannaregio, 5701

If what you want is pasta (and you want it rich and cheap) look no further and go dal Moro's! The place works this way: you choose the type of pasta you prefer (fettuccine, fusilli, penne ...) and the type of sauce, there are vegetarian options (such as four cheese, pesto or zucchini, curry, cream, pepper, cheese, tomato and garlic) and normal (such as pork, tomato, butter, onion and pepper). After a few minutes they serve your pasta in a cardboard box (the same ones used in noodles, to understand us) and appetite buon.

The portions are abundant and the quality is good (all the pasta is fresh and the sauces are made locally). The only bad thing is that there is no place to sit inside the premises but hey ... you are in Venice: who wants to stay inside ?!

  • Prices: € 5-7.
  • Web: www.dalmorosfreshpastatogo.com
  • Where: Casseleria Street, 5324.

Another great option if you want to eat something in passing. They have pasta dishes to take away and salads although the main protagonist of this place is ... the fritanguita! For € 5.99 you get a cone with squid, prawns and fried fish (all done at the moment). As always, we recommend eating it sitting on a bank near a canal, it's the best 🙂 and don't forget a cool beer!

  • Hours: 12.00-22.00.
  • Prices: € 6.
  • Web: www.facebook.com/pastatotakeaway/www.anticofornovenezia.com
  • Where: Cannaregio Calle Fiori 2287

There is pizzerias a little cheaper but this is definitely one of the best (maybe the best!) of Venice. There is the option of eating cut pizza (€ 3-4) or eating whole pizza (€ 5 Margherita, € 6 Wurstel, € 6.5 Ham and Mushrooms, Four Cheese € 7, Zucchini and Brie € 7.50, Calzone 7 , € 6 ...) Our advice is to take a whole pizza and go take it somewhere where you can sit and eat. An unforgettable experience. Eye, remember that in the rules of conduct of the city of Venice it is specified that you can not eat or drink sitting on curbs, stairs, ground, etc ... But if you find a bench to sit on, it says nothing! Look.

  • Hours: 11.30-21.30.
  • Prices: € 6-10.
  • Web: www.anticofornovenezia.com
  • Where: Ruga Ravano, 970/973.

Finally we have left the best: a place (of the many) where to enter fully into the venechet culture of the cicchetti. What are the cicchetti? A kind of tapas / pintxos made with tasty and local ingredients. In the osteria there are many types such as meatballs, tuna, cod (€ 1-1.5), eggplants or fried zucchini flowers (€ 1.5), arancini (€ 1.5) and assorted snacks (1- € 3.5), crostini with baccalá mantecato (€ 1.5-2), with smoked thick fish (€ 1.80).

If the cicchetti roll is cool, check out our post of the best bacari in venice

Eye: if you are very hungry we do not recommend this type of place, they are more designed to snack while you have a glass of wine (or two) but the experience is one of the most authentic in the city: come on, go to Venice Without going 'to Cicchetti' it would be like going to Granada without going for tapas: inadmissible!

  • Hours: 9-15 / 17.30-20.30
  • Price: € 3-10
  • Web: //osteriaallaciurma.grandmallmaadi.co/
  • Where: Galeazza Street, 406 / A
